Dear milon partners,

 

We would like to inform you that your current terminal software on your milonizer/trainerpoint/customer terminal is out of date. In order to continue to guarantee the connection to your milon terminal and to adapt it to the current security standards, a functionally relevant update routine is available, which must be executed manually by you due to technical conditions. The current version will continue to operate until 22 January 2024, after which it will no longer be possible to use milon CARE and milon ME on systems that have not been updated! For this reason, we ask you to carry out the update routine described below as soon as possible.

 

How can I perform the update?

As mentioned above, the update must be actively initiated or you must carry it out manually on the terminal. Here are the steps required for this:

Exit the full screen mode of any running terminal application by pressing the key combination CTRL+F

Open a browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)

Download the update file from the following link, execute it and follow the instructions displayed (note: the link must be entered manually in the address bar)

What else do I need to pay attention to?

  • The update routine must be carried out on all devices on which the terminal software is running (milonizer, Trainerpoint, customer terminal)
  • The milon training devices and the milon YOU are not affected
  • It may be necessary to connect a keyboard to enter the link
  • Please pay attention to the last information after the update has been carried out  
  • In some cases, the system must be restarted after the update and the update routine must be performed a second time

 

(Important note: For PCs that are still running Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8, we recommend checking whether it is perhaps time to update the hardware or at least the operating system. These versions are no longer supplied with (security) updates by Microsoft. In this way, we can ensure that the integration of new functions works smoothly - for example, it is not possible to pair heart rate belts via Bluetooth with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8).
