Outdated milon terminal software: We need your help 

Dear milon partners, 

we would like to inform you that your current terminal software on your milonizer/trainer point/customer terminal is out of date. In order to continue to guarantee the connection to your milon terminal and to adapt it to the current security standards, a functionally relevant update routine is available, which must be executed manually by you due to technical conditions. The previous version will be supported until 12 March 2024, after which it will no longer be possible to use milon CARE and milon ME on non-updated systems! For this reason, we ask you to carry out the update routine described below as soon as possible. 

How can I perform the update? 

As mentioned above, the update must be actively initiated. This means that you have to carry it out manually on the terminal. Here are the steps required for two scenarios: 

Scenario 1:

  • You have closed the terminal application by clicking on "x"?
  • You have already opened this page in a browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge) on your milonizer/trainer point/customer terminal?
  • Then download the update file from the following link, run it and follow the instructions displayed:

Scenario 2:

  • You have opened this page on a device other than your milonizer/trainer point/customer terminal? 
  1. Exit the full screen mode of any running terminal application on your milonizer/trainer point/customer terminal by pressing the key combination CTRL+F
  2. Exit or close the terminal software
  3. Open a browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
  4. Download the update file from the link below, execute it and follow the instructions displayed (note: the link must be entered manually in the address bar)

What else do I need to pay attention to? 

  • The update routine must be carried out on all devices on which the terminal software is running (milonizer, trainer point, customer terminal) 
  • The milon training devices and the milon YOU are not affected 
  • It may be necessary to connect a keyboard to enter the link 
  • Please pay attention to the last information after the update has been carried out  
  • In some cases, the system must be restarted after the update and the update routine must be performed a second time 

 

(Important note: For PCs that are still running Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8, we recommend checking whether it is perhaps time to update the hardware or at least the operating system. These versions are no longer supplied with (security) updates by Microsoft. In this way, we can ensure that the integration of new functions works smoothly - for example, it is not possible to pair heart rate belts via Bluetooth with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8).
